The wine

Codorníu Non Plus Ultra Reserva is an exceptional quality cava produced by one of Spain's oldest and most renowned wineries, Codorníu, located in the region of Catalonia. This cava is a reflection of the meticulous care and tradition that characterise the winery, which has been crafting sparkling wines since the 16th century.

Visually, Codorníu Non Plus Ultra Reserva presents a pale yellow colour with golden reflections, accompanied by a fine, persistent bubble that is evidence of its good ageing. On the nose, it displays a sophisticated aromatic range, with notes of green apple, citrus and a touch of pastries, the result of its maturation in contact with the lees.

On the palate, this cava is elegant and balanced. The acidity is well integrated, providing freshness and liveliness, while the creamy texture and well-assembled carbon dioxide offer a smooth and pleasant passage through the mouth. The fruity flavours are complemented by nuances of toast and nuts, leaving a long, satisfying finish.

Ideal for special celebrations or as an aperitif, Codorníu Non Plus Ultra Reserva also pairs perfectly with a wide variety of dishes, from seafood and fish to white meats and soft cheeses.
