The wine

Delamotte was founded in 1760 and is one of the most traditional wineries in Champagne. Today is part of the Laurent Perrier. Despite the change of ownership, these wineries continue to respect the development of Champagne according to ancient traditional methods, using the most modern facilities and equipment.

Delamotte Brut is a champagne to enjoy at any time of day at a reasonable price (for a Champagne, of course).

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker, Jancis Robinson, and Suckling

Pillowy and charming, the latest rendition of Delamotte's NV Brut offers up attractive aromas of orchard fruit, fresh bread and citrus oil. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and elegant, with a pretty pinpoint mousse and lively balancing acids, it's drinking well out of the gates but will also develop gracefully for a few years in the cellar.

Rather frothy-textured and delicate-flavoured. Easy wine to like. Good balance.

— Jancis Robinson (12/04/2019)JancisRobinson.com16 JANCIS ROBINSON

Quite impressive richness and gently toasty aromas on the nose here with almond, savory and sweet, bready autolysis notes. The palate has a fresh, succulent and smooth feel with soft, citrusy fruit flesh. Holds long. Drink now.
