The wine

Huré Frères L'Insouciance Rosé Brut is a rosé champagne crafted in the Champagne region of France by the Huré Frères family winery. This wine stands out for its elegant pale pink colour and its fine persistent bubbles. On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of fresh red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, complemented by floral hints and a subtle brioche nuance.

On the palate, L'Insouciance Rosé Brut is fresh and lively, with balanced acidity and a creamy texture. Red fruit flavours intertwine with citrus notes and a light mineral touch, culminating in a long, refreshing finish. Ideal for pairing with appetizers, seafood and light desserts, this rosé champagne captures the essence of nonchalance and celebration, reflecting the Huré family's tradition and passion for quality viticulture.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker and Jancis Robinson

Based on the 2017 vintage and disgorged in November 2019 with five grams per liter dosage, the NV Brut Rosé Insouciance exhibits aromas of pears, red berries and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and incisive, it's ripe core of fruit is underpinned by tangy structuring acids, complemented by a youthfully frothy mousse.

You wouldn't know this was a pink wine from the very lively nose though the strawberry fruits on the palate might be a bit of giveaway. This is a little bit hard on the finish but actually does have fruit and character, and a bit of persistence, unlike so many rosés .Appetising dry finish even if the acid level is not notably high.
