Corvina

Veneto, until a few years ago, represented a veritable jungle of native vines that covered most of the regional area dedicated to wine. Then, after the arrival of phylloxera and the destruction of much of this heritage, many winemakers decided to focus on international grapes, which unfortunately replaced what was there before. That which, with patience and tenacity, has now been at least partially recovered. Meanwhile, Valpolicella, the Recioto and Amarone region. Here tradition prefers blends. But the great grapes that contribute to the precious nectar of the place must also be appreciated on their own. The queen, we know, is the Corvina Veronese. Fresh and elegant, of good productivity and complex and deep fruity and floral hints, Corvina represents the strength of Valpolicella wines and their assurance on longevity. Taste it in its single-varietal version means entering the soul of those wines and in the essence of this territory now known throughout the world.
