Falanghina
A typical grape from Campania, Falanghina is one of the great whites of the South, which combines personality and pleasantness. A grape variety that knows how to read the territory very well, this white generally expresses delicate floral notes and a structure that is never too bulky, good freshness and tantalising minerality. It is also excellent as a sparkling wine, especially Prosecco style or with a slight ageing on the lees.

But the terroirs where it is most suited make it a true champion of sensations. More structured in Sannio and Irpinia, where the Falanghina, sometimes refined in the cellar, is reminiscent of cedar, hawthorn, dried fruit, and on the palate it bursts with a sometimes surprising opulence. Tense and thin, however, is the Falanghina of the volcanic areas near Naples, especially the Campi Flegrei. Explosively mineral, savoury, vertical, of amazing class and for true fans of volcanic wines.
