Rondinella
One of the typical grapes of Valpolicella, which can also compete with Amarone, rondinella is distinguished by its concentration of sugars and aromas. It is very rarely vinified as a single variety, and in this case it gives an intense ruby red colour with slight violet nuances; on the nose it expresses notes of ripe red fruits, tobacco and spices, while the taste-olfactory texture shows strong tannin although well integrated in the articulated structure. It performs well, as a single variety, as a rosé of character.
