Wine from Romagna DOC

Lands, climates and panoramas that are second to none. The people are welcoming, familiar and their sunny hospitality has no equal in Italy and perhaps in the world. The land of great pasta, stuffed and not-stuffed, Romagna is also the cradle of great wines. Wines that remember the most convivial traditions and then assume characteristics of majesty and refinement. A great Sangiovese, more frank and crunchy than the Tuscan one, which in the best areas leaves the bottle after ageing in cask that gives the Chianti Classico a run for its money. Earthy, deep, mineral.

Turning to the whites, the queen is Albana. A tense, mineral wine, which can take on an extensive and complex set of aromas and a respectable structure. Its maximum expression? A muffato of international caliber, charged up and fresh at the same time. And then the Pignoletto. Popular tradition. Once upon a time, and still today, it was sparkling and spicy, but today it also firm, sumptuous, with hydrocarbon notes and a structure committed to evolution.
