Patron Reposado is a delicate blend of tequilas aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 6 months. A tequila that is aged and mix to integrate the freshness of tequila with that characteristic touch of wood and has enjoyed great popularity in Mexico for many years.
Like all Patrón tequilas exceptional tequila, made from 100% blue agave grown in the Jalisco region, an area known for its excellent production of "honeys", sugar levels high quality.
As is the case with the great reds, teachers distillers pattern jealously monitor all process, from the time of harvest (ripening of a crop of agave requires a minimum of 6-7 years, but sometimes it is worth wait until 8 for the sugars reach optimum purity) in the selection of tequilas that best fit each harvest during cooking processes pineapples, fermentation and distillation in traditional copper stills ... to the strict control final tasting by Don Francisco Alvarez.
