Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is an extremely smooth whisky in spite of its high alcoholic strength (60%). It was the first in history to be sold on the market with no water added, bottled directly from the barrel. That proves the best introduction to Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength, a name that defines an exquisite Malt whisky: cask strength.
Glenfarclas, the last family-run distillery since 1865, has succeeded in combining tradition, experience and innovation. Thanks to the right ingredients and appropriate distillation methods, the 105 was extracted directly from Sherry and former Bourbon barrels and bottled under the name of 105, referring to the old British system of grading proof. Considered one of the 5 best Malt whiskys by the Wine Enthusiast magazine, it's a non-vintage whisky, although the distillery only produces whiskys with an 8-year minimum.
We recommend serving it with a dash of water to open up all its aromas to their full extent.
