Description
Hakushu is a single malt whisky that is made by roasting some of the barley over peat. This imbues it with a slightly smoky flavour which complements the floral notes originating from the wooded surroundings of the distillery.
A golden colour, the whisky reveals aromas of beeswax and aged wood, with hints of green apples, sweet pears and smoky notes. A flavoursome, fresh palate concludes with a lengthy, elegant finish.
