To create their Double Cask whisky, The Macallan brings new oak from America to Spain where the barrels are made and seasoned with sherry. These casks are then taken to the famous Macallan distillery in Speyside. The Double Cask whisky matures in these casks for twelve years before being harmoniously united with whiskies aged in the very best sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
The Double Cask is imbued with the essence and hints of Andalusian Oloroso sherry with notes of citrus fruit, raisins, and honey. The American oak gives it a fruity and spicy finish.
Nunca un whisky tuvo un trabajo tan afinado con su madera, un gran bouquet ensamblado a la perfeccion.
Para mi se trata de lo mejor en cuanto a relación calidad/precio.
