The wine
Accornero La Mattacchiona is a characteristic red wine for the whole meal, pleasantly lively. It shows an intense ruby red color. The nose has a delicate and refined aroma with notes of cherry and raspberry followed by floral aromas. In the mouth it appears dry, medium-bodied; the tannic texture marries a pleasant freshness, without ever sinning with softness. The very persistent finish releases juicy notes of red fruits. Excellent to accompany meat dishes, such as braised beef with mashed potatoes.
