The wine
Delicate, without any harsh notes, and displaying the Macabeo personality: fresh and smooth, with a subtle touch of oak. (Its name comes from an old-fashioned word, used locally, which means 'gladness, joy, happiness'.)
In appearance, the wine is a bright yellow colour and clean. On the nose, there are aromas of white and ripe yellow fruits, along with floral, toasty, lactic and citrus notes. Fresh, dry and tasty on the palate, it reveals fruit notes and nuances from barrel-ageing.
Fermented in new American oak barrels and aged on its lees for a minimum of 6 months.

The winery
Cooperativa L'Olivera

To make their wines, this winery has at its disposal grapes from its own vineyards, some 20 hectares of vineyards scattered in small parcels in the sub-zone of Costers...
