Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker and Jancis Robinson

The nose of the 2020 Crisopa is really impressive and different, with aromas of marmalade, charred tangerine peel, tea and sweet spices, very complex and different. It's a skin-contact white that is greatly marked by the process but has its separate personality. It feels different from previous years; the palate is finely tannic, with a chalky texture and very supple flavors, with the texture of a light red. This is my favorite vintage of Crisopa and one of my favorite orange wines. One 500-liter barrel produced some 600 bottles.

It is an orange-wine style with a deep golden colour with orange tinges. It has oxidative aromas such as orange peel, honey and dried stone fruit. It is an idiosyncratic wine within Rías Baixas. I like how the salty and vivid acidity combines with the oxidative character; however I would prefer a less extreme vinification.
