The wine
Made using grapes from old vine Garnachas, averaging 60 years old, grown at an altitude of 950 metres, on slate soil in the municipalities of Castejón de Alarba, Alarba and Acered.
Its name comes from an ancient unit of wine measurement equivalent to 12 large pitchers or 120 litres.
Aged in contact with its own lees for 14 months in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonage.
