The wine

Maccone Rosso 17º is the most opulent and harmonious Primitivo in the Donato Angiuli range, with this vine grower largely responsible for the excellent reputation enjoyed today by Apulian wines and their Primitivos in particular. It’s a truly seductive wine, concentrated and enveloping, warm and powerful, with a broad aromatic palette. A wine which oozes origin and tradition in every single drop: always remarkable, its character gives us a convincing and elegant account of how Salento’s wine-growing has evolved over the course of history.
