Ar.Pe.Pe. Sassella Stella Retica

Here we are in Valtellina, land of hard, coherent and vigorous winemakers.

This is a wine of rough elegance. The color is pale garnet red but bright. The nose is fine and elegant: hints of rose, violet, earth and small fresh red fruits, then again undergrowth and spices such as nutmeg and cloves. In the mouth splendid fruity aromatic returns and a pleasant final almond note that invites another sip. Tannin as present as it is smooth; Stella Retica is a fresh, mineral, clear, nervous, intense and harmonious wine.

Special with Alpine Valtellina cheeses, or with partridge or baked duck.
