The wine
Argiano Solengo is a modern wine, well balanced and full-bodied, with a sunny personality and evident Mediterranean characteristics. At sight it shows an intense dark purple color. The olfactory picture highlights a bouquet of ripe fruit, black currant and blackberry, infused with toasted oak. Soft on the palate, with a great concentration of lush fruit, well balanced with soft and delicate tannins. Exceptional structure and complexity, tempered by excellent tannic extracts. Equipped with an extraordinary capacity for aging, it goes beautifully with grilled meats, poultry and game stews and medium-aged cheeses.

The winery
Argiano
In a complex phase of change of ownership, Argiano is retaining exceptional quality levels, as evidenced by the acknowledgments which year after come in thick and fast. Some of the best exposed Montalcino plots, which benefit from a particularly favourable microclimate at around 300 metres altitude, have produced a classic, powerful, fascinating and balanced Brunello.
