The wine
A straw-yellow colour with greenish hues, the wine displays aromas of white flowers and syrup on the nose. With lovely tartness on the palate and oily-rich, it shows good acidity and plenty of length on the finish.
Aged for six months on its fine lees.

The winery
Bodegas Bentomiz
The winery is run by a Dutch couple, Clara Verheij and André Both, and started operating in 2003. The estate is located in the municipal district of Sayalonga, at an altitude of 450 metres. The vineyards are extremely old, cultivated on decomposed slate soils, with little depth due to erosion, but perfect for vine-growing, especially for Muscat of Alexandria vines.
