Aroa Laia

Aroa Laia 2021 is a white wine made by Bodegas Aroa in the D.O. Navarra, made entirely from white Grenache. The vineyards are located in the northern part of the region, protected by the Urbasa and Andía mountain ranges, and are cultivated following organic and biodynamic practices in fresh limestone-clay soils. The grapes were carefully selected and harvested by hand at the beginning of September. Fermentation took place with native yeasts, keeping the temperature below 16°C to preserve its aromatic profile. In the glass, it has a bright pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, it is fresh and elegant, with notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit, pineapple and mango, citrus fruits such as grapefruit and tangerine, and a subtle touch of mint. On the palate, it begins with a fruity expression that gives way to a characteristic salinity, a reflection of the influence of the Cantabrian Sea, resulting in an elegant, pleasant and fresh wine. With an alcohol content of 12% vol., it is recommended to serve between 8 and 10 °C to fully appreciate its qualities.
