The wine
Áster Finca El Otero originated from the only estate that La Rioja Alta found under plantation in Anguix (Burgos), when it acquired Bodegas Áster in the Ribera del Duero. These are vineyards of Tinta Fina, planted in 1961, which reflect perfectly the characteristics of this unique and distinguished terroir. As regards the wine, it was the first Áster to undergo malolactic fermentation in barrel.
Aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months.
