Baglio di Pianetto Sicilia Viognier Ginolfo

Baglio di Pianetto Ginolfo is a fascinating Sicilian Merlot with a deep ruby red color. The nose expresses rich hints of jam reminiscent of plum and morello cherry; to follow, spicy aromas of cloves and balsamic notes, all intense and strongly present to enclose a complex olfactory sensation. On the palate it is full, warm, balanced, harmonious. It goes well with red meats, such as roast beef, boiled meats, roasts, mature cheeses, poultry and stewed rabbit. It can also be considered a whole meal wine. An excellent wine with a strong Sicilian identity, but innovative for its character complexity.
