The wine
The Baigorri Maceración Carbónica is definitely one of the Rioja Alavesa's juiciest and most seductive reds. Made following the long Rioja tradition of carbonic macerations, it combines the intense aromas of wild berry fruits with a measured acidity that keeps it vibrant. The menthol hints and liquorice add an extra touch of freshness overall. On the palate, it's absolutely lovely, as its tannins are very pleasant and its mouthfeel extremely luscious.

Bodegas Baigorri

The magnificent building of Bodegas Baigorri in Samaniego, at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria mountains, was designed by the Guipuzcoa architect Iñaki Aspiazu, with the intention of integrating it harmoniously into the countryside.
