The wine
This is a 100% single varietal Garnacha, originating from mountain vineyards aged between 35-60 years old and lying at an altitude of 600-700 metres on clay-limestone soils with stones and loam in the composition.
The wine appears a very intense dark Picota cherry red colour with purple hues. On the nose it releases a display of concentrated aromas featuring ripe red fruits with floral nuances. The palate is rich and well-structured, offering notes of blackberries and plums, with hints of leather and vanilla, and exhibiting sweet, silky tannins.
Aged for 5 months in new French oak barrels.
