This wine is the result of the union of some company crus, those that grandfather Ernesto in Piedmontese defined precisely "autin bej": the most beautiful and sunny vineyards or parts of vineyards. It is a Barbaresco as it was once done, combining particularly suitable vineyards and, in this case, of high altitude, to bring together the best characteristics of the great Nebbiolo da Barbaresco in a single wine.
Deep garnet red color, with antique pink reflections on the nail; intense and fruity aroma reminiscent of raspberry and jam, but also violet. The ethereal sensations are accompanied by sweet spicy notes and hints of cocoa; warm, long, persistent and slightly tannic flavor. The aftertaste recalls the fruity notes. The structure and the fruity intensity of the wine suggest, in addition to the traditional combination with red meats, the combination with duck or pork, grilled or fried, also served with sweet and sour or spicy sauces.
