The wine
Thanks to the soils and the strong thermal excursions, Calcarius wines express a tense, sharp and territorial style without compromise. Notes of yeast and dried fruit typical of the organic approach are obviously always in evidence. The Nù Litr Bianco, from white bombino grapes typical of Puglia, is no exception. Produced from the youngest vines, in its beautiful straw color it expresses an irresistible fruity bouquet, with citrus notes of lemon, pear and orange peel. Very fresh and savory, with an agile body and little alcohol, it also recalls citrus and fruit to the sip. The final, precise and vertical, is perfect to accompany the typical summer preparations based on vegetables.

Calcarius
Calcarius, or "limestone wines". Exactly, because the soil of Gargano, the northern corner of Puglia, is deeply calcareous, where the winemaker Valentina Passalacqua, from Puglia, and Danilo Marcucci started the project that bears this name. The municipality is Apricena, recognised as the most suitable in a region, Gargano, with wine potential that is not yet fully expressed.
