The wine
Campo Viejo Gran Reserva 2016 is a Rioja wine of great elegance, made from Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, and aged for 24 months in oak barrels and more than 3 years in the bottle. This ageing time adds complexity and structure, highlighting aromas of ripe fruit, spices and notes of vanilla and cocoa.
On the palate, it is silky and well-balanced, with refined tannins and a long, lingering finish. It is ideal for pairing with red meats, roasts and cured cheeses, offering a classic and sophisticated Rioja experience.
