Spec sheet
The wine
It is the flagship wine of the company, or rather the wine that has made the company known in the world. Its name originates from the homonymous hill where wolves were traditionally sighted. Lupicaia is born from the attention and care put into all the processes of its production, such as the manual selection of the best grapes and aging in wooden barrels. On the nose the wine shows aromas of currant, a balsamic minerality and hints of spices. It is a full-bodied red wine, aged in new Allier barriques, rich and structured: a wine for aging and meditation. It can be paired with dishes such as grilled meat, dishes rich in mushrooms, meat with chocolate sauce and aged cheeses.
