Fabrizio Bianchi Chardonnay Monsanto is an inviting and fascinating wine. In the chalice it shines with a bright golden color. The olfactory profile captures and seduces at the opening, giving a fruity and floral bouquet of considerable complexity in which distinct notes of tropical and white-fleshed fruit stand out, especially peach; followed by wildflower honey, floral aromas, orange and peach blossom, dried fruit and eucalyptus. These scents are combined with the noble contributions of wood, notes of vanilla, delicate toasting and pastry. On the palate it appears moderately round, warm, full-bodied, savory; the acid note is present but only hinted at, soft. The medium-long persistence returns an aftertaste of toasted and vanilla notes. Very versatile in combinations thanks to its structure and caloric intake, it is excellent on strong foods and with structured dishes.
