The wine
The Barbera Superiore Le Cave di Castello di Ualti is an intense and vibrant red wine; in the glass it has a deep ruby color. From an olfactory point of view, the fruity, plum and currant scents spread to the nose, followed by mineral nuances and ferrous tones. Fresh tasting, as is typical of Barbera, with barely hinted but still present tannins. Good length. It is enhanced with first courses, red and white meats, medium-aged cheeses
