The wine
Acante was born in 2012. It is a variety that, although it is particularly present in Campania, can certainly be considered a native of Puglia. It has Greek origins and takes its name from the vitis apiana, so called because the fiano vine attracted swarms of bees. The name Acante in Salento dialect means "empty", precisely because of its ease of drinking and adaptability to a large number of dishes.
