The wine
Since 1994, Catena Alta wines have been the premium range from Nicolás Catena and his daughter Laura - limited production wines, with even greater care taken and a second rigorous selection in the winery. As regards this vintage, it is perfectly able to be drunk and enjoyed during the next 6 to 7 years, with complexity increasing over 12 more years. These wines have been aged for 18 months in new (60%) and semi-new French oak barrels.
