Ceretto is one of the biggest names in Barolo, but not only. The bond with the land, the traditional style, technological innovation and the gradual conversion to organic farming at Ceretto involve all the denominations in the lower Piedmont region. Among these, Moscato d'Asti naturally stands out, which the family has managed to turn into an iconic product, a symbol of quality at the best price.
The unusual and daring shape of the bottle, designed in the 1990s by Giacomo Bersanetti, makes this Moscato d'Asti immediately recognisable. Bersanetti's creative genius is also responsible for the label showing a crescent moon of light yellow colour, a tribute to the typical straw colour of Moscato and to the Monferrato writer Cesare Pavese, author of the famous novel La luna e i falò (The moon and the bonfires).
The nose is intense, aromatic, fruity, as befits an excellent Moscato d'Asti. The notes are textbook: sage, aromatic herbs, peach, passion fruit, but there are also mineral puffs, candied scents and a slight balsamic note. The sweet and aromatic flavour, in balance with the low alcohol content, and a pleasant freshness, make this label a versatile and pleasant solution both for dessert and for an unusual creamy and appetizing aperitif.

Subtle citrus flavours together with a balanced sweetness and a gentle fizz make this an excellent Moscato d'Asti, well worth the above average price for this denomination. The bottle is beautiful too.

Cherry and Chocolate - Great Pairing
Great with a lovely smooth milk chocolate and cherry mouse with brandy snaps. Sweet but not too sweet with a silky texture

Very good sweet wine for dessart and afternoon light brunch
I always like Moscato just for leisure enjoyment. This moscato is again very good for dessart and afternoon light brunch. Better to keep it in the refregirator for an hour before drinking.

Super Wine
This wine has much to like, from the very cool bottle to the taste of the wine, which is arguably the best desert wine I have ever drank. I had it in a Michelin quality restaurant and tracked down a bottle at Vinnissimus at a very competitive price. It is a slightly sparkling charmer of a wine, offering elegant bubbles with a fantastic finish and a very nice bouquet. Don’t be put off by the alcohol content which is a surprising sub 6% abv. Enjoy!
