The wine
The name, “Monier de la Sizeranne” corresponds to the name of an important family in Tain l'Hermitage. This family also owned the “La Sizeranne” vineyard. Influential family since 1790 thanks to Henri Monier de la Sizeranne, senator; Maxime Monier de la Sizeranne, painter; Maurice Monier de la Sizeranne, at the origin of the creation of a version of braille (which explains the use of braille on the bottles of Maison M. CHAPOUTIER); Robert Monier de la Sizeranne, translator of Ruskins' book. The label of the bottle represents a lion which is the coat of arms of the Sizeranne family.
