The wine
Considered to be the head of the cuvée of Château d'Esclans, Garrus comes from old Grenache vines that are almost a hundred years old. Fermented only in French oak demi-muid, this powerful and elegant wine is the icon of luxury rosé internationally. It is impressive and concentrated, with a smooth finish highlighting spicy notes. It is considered the greatest rosé in the world, competing with the best white wines and prestigious champagnes.

Château D'Esclans is located in the heart of the Var, where most of the AOC Rosés de Provence are produced. The lands were occupied 2,500 years ago and constituted a point of surveillance for possible intruders who could disembark in the Gulf of Fréjus.
