Château Kirwan

A deep dark color immediately sets the tone for the vintage. Great concentration is expected. This is confirmed by the rich and complex nose where black fruits and spices such as sweet pepper, cinnamon and vanilla mingle. On the palate, the attack is fresh and full at the same time. An impression of volume that continues in the mid-palate as velvety tannins gradually develop, giving body to the wine, without ever being aggressive. Everything is balance. A few notes of cocoa and coffee complete the wide aromatic palette right up to the long finish, supported by extremely ripe tannins. While some will be tempted to drink it young as it charms the taste buds, I recommend waiting a few years because all the ingredients are present for a long and promising aging.
