The wine
Very beautiful, very deep purple color, typical of the appellation. Precise and complex nose: toasted, spices, red fruits, mint. It is found in the mouth with hints of gingerbread and a beautiful structure. This wine is rich and promising.

The winery
Château Lamartine
Château Lamartine occupies a special place in the Cahors vineyard. Its 37 hectares planted in the oldest terraces of the Lot Valley benefit from an exposure to the south, which guarantees the good maturity of Malbec. The Gayraud family, winemaker for four generations in these clay and limestone soils, takes great care of the cultivation of their vines and the aging of their wines. Lise and Benjamin make up this fourth generation.
