The wine
The blending of the various origins of barrels only aims to magnify the expression of the terroir but also of the Lamartine style by favoring concentration in favor of extraction. Aromas of sour cherries and chocolate drawn from a structure where power, finesse and elegance play on a balanced register.

The winery
Château Lamartine
Château Lamartine occupies a special place in the Cahors vineyard. Its 37 hectares planted in the oldest terraces of the Lot Valley benefit from an exposure to the south, which guarantees the good maturity of Malbec. The Gayraud family, winemaker for four generations in these clay and limestone soils, takes great care of the cultivation of their vines and the aging of their wines. Lise and Benjamin make up this fourth generation.
