Château Lynch-Moussas
2017Spec sheet
The wine
One of the wonderful treasures from the Paulliac appellation using grapes from Cinquième Grand Cru Classé vineyards under the 1855 classification. Winemaking at the Château dates back to the sixteenth century and is currently carried out by the Castéja family, who also own Château Duhart-Milon, Pichon-Longueville Baron and Doisy-Védrines. They modernized the winery and château, replanting vines to create this classic Pauillac wine, deservedly recognized for its power and ageing potential.
What does this wine taste like?
Château Lynch-Moussas has a wonderful red, almost purple, colour and an expressive nose with notes of blackberries, blackcurrants, floral aromas, exotic woods, cedar and tobacco. It is fresh and fruity on the palate with elegant and deep tannins and a long and lingering finish.
