The wine
Ghiaie Bianche is a Chardonnay fermented in barrique from grapes produced in the Col d'Orcia area, which gives the consumer the opportunity to appreciate the charm of Montalcino in the best variety of aromatic white grapes. In this wine is found all the depth and immensity of the Mediterranean summer.
Intense straw yellow. It has a complex bouquet, with hints of fruit, such as apple and pineapple, and floral, on a spicy vanilla background. Wide and enveloping, characterized by a fresh savory note. Satisfying and long-lasting wine, with great aging potential.

Col d'Orcia
Col d'Orcia is, first of all, one of the founding wineries of Brunello di Montalcino. The purchase of the first estate dates back to 1890, when the Franceschi family, of Florentine origin, established its land in the area, then called Fattoria Sant’Angelo in Colle. After the presentation of the first Brunellos in 1933, the Fattoria was split into two separate estates, Il Poggione, still active, and, indeed, Col d’Orcia.
