The wine
Colterenzio's Merlot Riserva Siebeneich is a South Tyrolean red wine; the nose presents splendid aromas of ripe berries and bitter chocolate. Dense and complex in the mouth with subtle tannins. An elegant Merlot with excellent aging potential. Particularly suitable for tasty meats, with dark and spicy sauces, game and cheeses.

Colterenzio
Founded in 1960 by 28 wine-growers, the Cantina Colterenzio winery now has around 300 members and is one of the most active and enterprising firms in Alto Adige, managed for many years by Wolfgang Raifer, son of the renowned oenologist Luis Raifer who had also taken over the running of the winery back in the 1970s.
