Fresh and fragrant, Pievecroce is the Lugana signed by Mattia Vezzola. A brand that means respect for the territory - that of the southern shore of Lake Garda, towards Sirmione - but also intelligence and extreme competence in the cellar. And in fact Pievecroce, which in itself benefits from the Mediterranean climate and the rich soils of the area, is partially vinified in barriques, where it ferments about 35% of the musts.
Straw yellow with light greenish reflections and the tendency to take on golden nuances with aging, the nose has an elegant bouquet, large and of good intensity, with delicate hints of peach, apple and ripe pear. On the palate it shows an excellent structure, it is pleasantly crunchy, with good flavor, freshness and persistence. Perfect to accompany fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with aperitifs and white meats.
