The wine
The Capçanes Cooperative was founded in 1933 and currently has 125 members. It makes a wide variety of wines that come under the Montsant denomination of origin. The winery's potential is based on the richness and diversity of its vineyard estates, which is demonstrated superbly by this wine with its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Cariñena and Tempranillo. Costers del Gravet exhibits great refinement on the nose and is very well balanced on the palate.
12 months in American oak and French oak, 50% new barrels, with two rackings.
