The wine

Laudàri, quintessence of Sicilian Chardonnay: opulent, warm and creamy.

It was born in the province of Agrigento and from the calcareous-chalky soils of the Baglio del Cristo di Campobello, 8km from the sunny coast, it draws the intriguing minerality of which it shows off both the nose and the taste. A wine with a precious, bewitching and complex bouquet; generously dispenses enveloping aromas of yellow pulp fruits, dried fruit, beeswax, chamomile and mint as well as butter and vanilla.

On the palate Laudàri is in perfect balance, soft and full but savory and enlivened by good freshness. A Mediterranean white, elegant and convincing, as the producer "Sicilian first and then Chardonnay" likes to call it.

There are no compromises here at Baglio. The extreme and obsessive reverence for the virtues of the western Sicilian terroir meets the wine-making of Riccardo Cotarella, one of the stars of...
