The wine
Bishops Ulzbach Teroldego is a complex, intense and elegant wine. With a very intense violet ruby color, the nose first opens on vinous notes, then becomes increasingly spicy and balmy, with traces of black pepper, mint and juniper berries. Slim fruity notes of plum and blackberry open to a full bodied, structured and full taste. The tannins live and makes the syrup long and persistent, with an interesting final on the red fruit. Great to match with tasty meat dishes, especially on deer chops with nuts and mashed potatoes.
