The wine
This Rosso di Montepulciano is the freshest and most lively interpretation of the same Sangiovese di Vigna Martiena which, in this historic part of wine-producing Tuscany, produces the famous Vino Nobile. Lively ruby in colour, from only steel, it has a superb olfactory impact that ranges from winey to fruity. On the palate it is perky, dynamic, of great freshness and pleasant taste. It’s a wine that can be rich and profound, which benefits from vines that are more than ten years old (not very young, therefore, for the type) and medium-textured and pebbly soils, which at the same time guarantee it verticality and good longevity.

The best vintage, Bossona, grows out of sandy and tuffy soils rich in skeleton, which is typical of the area, at an altitude of about 400...
