Mikaël Bouges Les Côts Hauts is a 100% Côt straight from Touraine, one of a kind, vinified in an original and authentic way by an artisan-artist-winemaker, Mikaël Bouges. Mikaël Bouges has never done anything other than organic: out of conviction and to offer the best of the terroir where his vines grow. He works his soil with gravel on limestones in total plowing and without weeding, all the plots are cultivated without weedkiller, without chemical fertilizers or synthetic products. The harvest and the pruning are done by hand, most naturally of course, and in good respect of the methods of Organic Agriculture. Le Côt is the other name of Malbec in the South West (notably in Cahors) whose uniqueness allows it to produce very different wines from one region to another.
