The wine
Chanson has 3 ha of this climate located in the heart of the Premiers Crus de Santenay, a small town south of the Beaune Coast. The plot is at the top of the hill and is spread over two levels. The soil with a high proportion of pebbles gives the wine a beautiful minerality that highlights the typicity of Pinot Noir.
A cuvée with a deep ruby color. Very fresh aromas of ripe red fruits (cherry, plum) in spicy notes. Light note of vanilla. Complex and well balanced. Elegant texture in well integrated tannins. Good persistence in the fruit.
