The wine
Sol Payre Ivresse des Sens is made with a subtle blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan collected at the perfect moment of ripeness from vines growing in chalky-clay soils. The grapes are vinified at controlled temperatures and then aged for between 10 to 12 months in oak barrels.
The resulting wonderful ruby-red colour with bright glints and an intense aromatic nose of ripe red berries and cherries with a rounded fruity palate explains its name, which roughly means an intoxicating delight for the senses. Ivresse des Sens makes the perfect partner for informal meals with friends or family, around a barbecue or eating out at a bistro-style restaurant.
