The wine

Clos des Mouches, the name comes from the fact that this sunny clos housed hives, and bees were once called honey flies.

The color is a beautiful deep ruby red, with all the luminosity of great Burgundy. The nose is intense and fresh for young wines. The primary notes of red fruits predominate: blackberries, sour cherries, raspberries. Complexity emerges with nuances of smoke, evolving into licorice. With maturity, a small grain of pepper and a note of dark tobacco, very spicy, aromas of humus and undergrowth. In the mouth, a frank, clean and fleshy attack. Firmness without roughness, density without heaviness. Great freshness for young wines. With age, the wine becomes round and acquires fat and depth, with a silky texture provided by tannins. He is alive and very noble. A feeling of fullness and balance, with the entire breed of tannins.
